This website seeks to discuss the theory of assessment under SIXSHAMITR – Concept the framework for assessment of the performance of the Students, so also the impact of the said performance on the Departments/Associations, and the college/institution as the whole.
The Principal Concern of this project is to show how the assessment is conducted and applied to situations in practice. Of Course, the theory presented has its imperfections and inadequacies. Yet it is a potent tool in measuring the performance of student and co-relates the same in terms of Academics & Co/Extra-Curricular Activities.

In developing this concept, I have drawn on a vast amount of literature in various areas of education and human resource evaluation. Naturally, I owe an intellectual debt to numerous authors who have enriched the stream of literature in the above areas by their contributions. I have also benefited from the insights and experiences of my fellow workers and a number of my students, with whom I have and had debated this concept day in and out..
